RETREAT TO DUBAI
Marvel Group organized a 5-day vacation to Dubai for 57 members of the Marvel family as an acknowledgement to the unconditional support and dedication towards their roles and responsibilities in the company. It was surely a moment of great pride, joy and pleasure for one and all as we become the trendsetters being a part of such a grand overseas corporate retreat. It surely exhibited a beautiful bond of trust, faith and commitment between each member of the family.
The itinerary was well planned and packed with fun-filled activities as the group landed in Dubai, a man’s miracle in Desert land as it is called. The cab stopped at JW Marriott hotel and the fun began with the dinner on the cruise. The exotic location and the ambience thrilled each one of us with excitement. The next day at Wild Wadi, a gigantic water park offering fun-filled rides and water activities. The group was seen enjoying water rides like a kid and it seemed like returning back to school days. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the water-chill and had a great time.
Sand Bashing and Desert Safari were the next activities on the itinerary. It was surely an experience of a lifetime, the picturesque dessert and sand dunes looked amazing under the splendid rays of the sun. It was a thrilling ride. The day ended with Arabic dinner at the camp accompanied with music and dance. Everyone enjoyed the music, having fun away from home.
Next day we visited the tallest building of the world BURJ KHALIFA, as we stood on the 124th floor of the building I recalled Sudha Mam’s words of raising the benchmark. It was a moment of accomplishment and a reminiscing experience which gave each one of us a new spark in the eyes and each heart throbbed with new possibilities, dreams, goals and much more.
The last evening of the trip was even more rejoicing as tears and smiles echoed during the closing dinner where we shared our experiences and feelings and expressed our gratitude to Mrs Sudha Gupta, our Chairperson Mother’s Pride and Presidium for honoring all of us as a valued member of Marvel family.
The trip knitted strong bonds between all of us as we made a silent promise to be together in this journey of excellence of our organization and raised our level of commitment and admiration towards the family we belong, the Marvel family.
